It's very rare to find a wedding dress which fits like a glove first time, even with 1840's handmade to order dresses. But don't worry, we have some expert hands at the ready to help you tweak your dress so it is exactly as you want.

Once your dress has arrived in store we will contact you to come and try it on and from there you can book an appointment with our inhouse seamstresses at a time that is convenient to you. Easy!
Reimagine
How many wedding dresses do you think are stashed away getting mouldy and moth eaten in lofts at the moment? We can't bare the thought! At 1840 we want you to get joy from your special outfit for more than just one day.

We offer you the chance to return your dress and have it custom made into something totally bespoke that you can wear again and again - dye it, cut it, add to it - the options are endless!

Your wedding should be the happiest day of your life, but equally we know how blooming stressful they can be during the planning and even on the day itself.
